This is my classical guitar. It was hand made in Mexico in 1970. It has solid rosewood sides and back with a solid spruce top. My sister gave it to me when I was 15. I'm 50 now. So I've had it for 35 years. I used it when I was studying classical guitar in college and passed up several offers from my instructors to buy it. It's the best classical I've ever played.

I have an 85 Japanese Fender Tele but it's basically just the body and electronics. I was not a fan of Teles when I received it, so I treated it with disdain. I always hated the neck. It was too narrow at the 1st fret and eventually replaced it with a mighty mite.
The pin up was added a few years ago. It needed something to make it look better.
Yeah I liked white guitars.

I purchased a Gibson Sonex 180 Deluxe, with parental assistance, from Acton Music (Acton, MA) in 1978. Last year it went to the great Mom and Pop Shop in the Sky, when I realized that there was no way I would ever, ever, play a 3,000 lb. guitar with a resin cast body.

I've owned this '72 Tele since 1975. I have no idea what it was originally. Until I got it, I had a black righty strat that I was playing left-handed. One day I showed up at a jam session and there was this German guy there playing the Tele right-handed. We literally shrugged, laughed, and decided to trade even up right there. Was kind of a mess when I got it. Frets badly worn, and a bridge pickup that was far too microphonic to play at any volume. There was a 1/8" black plexiglass pickguard covering the entire body, which had been smashed around the volume controls so the pots were just sort of hanging there. It also had some nondescript humbuckers in the neck and middle pickup. I had it refretted, reduced the pickguard, and swapped the original bridge pickup for one of the early Dimarzio tele pickups. The humbuckers slowly died, so most recent;y I just have a Harmonic Design Z90 in the neck position. It's still my main guitar for the studio.
