Stupid question # 17: do you have any sort of pads on the bottom (feet/rails) of the furniture on the floor without and carpet under it?

Yup. Bought them at Ikea since I had to make a few trips there for rugs and such. Unless there is a rug under it, they all have little stick on felt pads.

Ah, I almost forget about those! Thx for the reminder.

I can't see your pic's from work, so I'll look later. I'm 2/3 done with the living room and sore as hell from all the stooping, etc. I would have asked for help, but I don't know anyone who's done this before, so everyone else would just get in the way.

I'll be moving my gear in here, so I finally have some motivation after putting this project off for a year +.

The doorways, plus inside and outside corners were a challenge even with a miter chop saw, table saw and a jig saw. I've cut the boards so precise, we won't have to add 1/4 round molding.
