We took a car load of dishes and whatnot over to the new house this evening. We went inside to unload, and an hour and a half later, we came out to find about 2" of snow in our driveway. Total shocker.

Then we had to drive through the ghetto to get back home. THAT was an adventure! :grin:

I thought this was Hotlanta?!?! ???
 
I'm watching one of the interstate traffic cams, and there are people pushing a car south down Interstate 75. Some dude just ran across the damn road, and it's 5 lanes across. It's like idiot snow frogger. I-75 south at 14th street. This is hilarious!

South Bend got THIRTY-SEVEN INCHES of snow this weekend.



TWENTY SIX of those inches fell in one day.

Right, but you guys are used to it. Down here, it was like retard-a-palooza. I can't tell you how many morons we had to drive past who were doing donuts or running their hoopties into hedges or whatever. I don't blame them, I guess. It NEVER snows here.
 
Now it's sleeting, and the top of the snow is turning to a sheet of ice. This is going to be a blast! Not.

'Round these parts, they're saying 2-4. Assuming we're getting your leftovers, it doesnt seem to be a big deal.

I remember when I lived in Georgia many moons ago they had a similar storm. I grew up skiing near Lake Tahoe so I was used to snow driving but it happens so rarely there that no one can drive in it. It is hilarious to watch as long as you do not have to venture out onto the roads yourself.

We got seven inches of snow here yesterday, and some cold as well. It is supposed to be - 10 tonight with - 18 wind chill....
