Incredibly specific pet peeves

Womens' salons, usually in rural areas, that have bad play-on-words names.
For example:

The Mane Attraction
Curl Up And Dye
A Cut Above
Sugar to Spice tanning salon
Etc

I guess its not a pet peve actually...but I cant help giving a giant  whenever I see one

I dislike puns in general. There are exceptions, of course, but they are exceptional.

Never seen a city combine rudeness and efficiency in quite the same manner as that place. The Anti-Canada if you will.

The Rudeness Efficiency Index is an unofficial metric of the City of New York. It gauges the precise hours and locations with which both visitors and residents can maximize their peak rudeness on a daily basis, with a mean score of 100. Above 100 indicates above average rudeness. Below 100 indicates below average rudeness. While the current MTA Subway map isn't officially searchable yet, the general guideline is that the closer to Midtown & Lower Manhattan you go, the higher the score, particularly between the hours of 4pm-6pm. Please stay in your hotel room during those times.

Proprietors who can't think of a good, catchy name for their new business. "A Cut Above" or "The Mane Attraction" may be a bit on the tacky side, but even worse are people who have absolutely no imagination or too lazy put any effort at all into the name of their new business, so they just use their initials.

D&B Auto Repair
C&D Liquors
J&B Bail Bonds

I have a couple. Both could be appropriate at either work or home. Both involve stupid questions. The first is somebody asking you " what are WE doing"... meaning they think something is not happening as fast as they would like. I sure as hell don't know what you want, I am not a damn mind reader. The second is people who ask " why?" and say "no, it's not" after wards. So why in the bleep are you asking me if you are going to refute what I say? Do it yourself and save us both the grief and aggravation. I could go on into a full blown rant, but I think you know where I was headed.

Frozen Garlic toast.

WTF does this product exist? It takes 20 seconds to make garlic toast "from scratch"
It's like buying a bowl of pre-milked cereal.

Because the trans- fat loaded margarine and garlic salt they use is far superior to the real butter and rubbed gahlic that you probably use at home. And pre-milked cereal? Don't laugh it exists. A little Carnation instant into a ziploc bag of Cheerios. Some dry sugar or none as you like. Add half a cup of water, shake and it's done.

Just read this, and we won't have to.

Seriously?

I'm embarrassed for you. This is a tragic case of citation without merit, or anything even resembling that which is considered valid in an academic setting. At best, it is a lazy retort that lacks any sense of legitimacy, and is therefore, an insincere response that trivializes the entire discussion with haphazardly sourced content.

The illustrious learning institutions mentioned in that entry, would give you a failing grade for its inclusion in an academic assignment. It is an unfortunate, yet ironic certainty. I must conclude then, that your motives were misguided. Surely, no scholarly stalwart such as yourself, could be so wide of the mark without a distraction of some significant depth. I am not unsympathetic, may you recover from this malady, whatever it may be, and return to your previous level of lucidity post haste.

Post Script:

I have edited your reply for clarity.

You're welcome.

People that lean on their shopping cart like it's a walker. Stand up straight you lazy sack of trans fat. And can you please walk at a normal pace...it's a fucking super market, not the Louvre.
