I used to not worry about it and my LP standard is 9.6 lbs but it does get old on a 4 hour gig.

Despite popular opinion on what makes a 'real' LP, I was thrilled to get a weight relieved standard. I don't think I could play a 12 pound plus guitar for very long.

The first pic was what I ordered....Here is what I got.

The pickups are pretty good IMO. I would say far superior to other stock pups of guitars at this price point. I think they are pretty articulate...
