I like a nice even tone on a cutaway (doesn't actually have to be an A/E though), and I'll manipulate my technique to accommodate different needs.

This Elite is a shallow bowl just like my '86 Collector. I love the shallow bowls as they are easy to play, project well and have those great pickups from the mid 80's - 90's. I also have a med bowl celebrity with a KOA top that I bought for open tunings. The medium bowl sits well to and has nice rich sound with the KOA top.
