Has #MeToo impacted your listening or viewing at all?

I stopped listening to Warren Zevon years ago after reading his autobiography. Just awful. But I was never a big fan.

The big one for me is Cosby. I still make all of his jokes. I just no longer give them the proper credit.

We’ve been binge watching Parks and Rec and yesterday the Louis CK episodes were on and they actually made my skin crawl. I wonder if he made a Leslie Knope watch him while he masterbated in front of her.

same here. I didn’t catch the first couple seasons when the show was on and had no idea he was on it.

I probably wouldn’t watch Louis CK’s show if it was still on. I stopped watching Polanski’s movies a long time ago; he’s horrible enough that it shouldn’t take #MeToo to get people to stop supporting his child raping ass. I haven’t tried watching a Woody Allen movie in years but I suspect at some point I’m going to end up watching Annie Hall or Manhattan or Match Point because they really are genius and some of the greatest films ever made.

I loved Pootie Tang (which he pretty much disowned so it's good), CK-era Conan, and his old surreal standup but the stuff he was doing when he hit it big sucked. My kids are dumb and I hate them. I'm fat and bald and I jack off a lot. Everything's amazing, nobody's happy.

Everything is not amazing, dumbass. Nobody could stop repeating his reader's digest for misanthropes bullshit. I'm glad he was cast into a pit.

No. Not at all because I had respect for women before there was a movement. Women are not angels. There are women who will lie and cheat and suck a dick and fuck there way to the achieve their evil goal just like men. Women have equal rights and I think of them as equals. They're as big a dirt bag as any man is and can be.

Kevin Spacey and Louis CK, though I had less of the latter in my life since I was never a big fan.

Just paid attention to the lyrics to What a Fool Believes the other day and thought "boy, they made the music extra happy for this sad song because if they didn't he would look like a stalker" a couple of years ago I might not have bothered to have made that connection unless it was painfully obvious like that Police song.

Apparently Kevin Spacey is not ok at my house

Not much of a movie guy bit definitely Spacey. Who's this CK dude? We watcjed s live stream from a closed local comedy club last night and the compere made a joke about him.

Music wise.

Ive never liked MJ, even as a kid I knew he was a creepy fuck so it's only if a client asks for any I'll play it.

I won't play R Kelly anymore. White girls gonna have have to go without Ignition being played at this wedding.

My wife plays that Ryan Adams Taylor swift cover album just about every weekend morning and I wish she wouldn'

Could be worse, I have friends who are happy to spin Gary Glitter songs at their gigs

Thank you. Perfectly sums up my thoughts on that guy.

I don’t really like comedy and I generally assume comedians are awful, sad people so I’ve not been shocked by any of the big reveals there.

I know most rock and rollers of a certain vintage were/are creeps. I still listen, but I’m aware of what’s going on. I’ve spent a lot of serious time considering gender business in rock and roll, so it’s hard not to listen through that lens anyway.

I don’t really fuck with Ryan Adams anymore. He’s a borelord who is maybe 1/3 as good as people said he was—and I’m not there for it given his monumental shittiness. Phoebe Bridgers is a better songwriter than he is anyway. And it sucked that Jenny Lewis had to take the heat for his assholery during her last album cycle vs getting credit for a great fucking record.
