That said, I can't really think of many females who'd want to watch it. :embarrassed:
 
I watched Scorsese's "Mean Streets" last night. I remember being just "wowed" by it when it came out and it became my Scorsese yardstick. Other films of his were good or great, but for me they never had the same impact. I'd even put off re-watching Mean Streets out of concern that it wouldn't be as good as I remembered. But it was and is. My wife would hate it but only because she doesn't love movies.
 
It seems that I don't do guy movies. Since I hardly do movies at all, I guess it isn't that surprising. :rolleyes:

Great movie. Val Kilmer really made that one for me, but Kurt Russel's "Are ya gonne do somethin about it or ya just gonna stand there and bleed" is a real classic.

i agree, great acting, lots of action. a guys movie all around. and your right val kilmer took over that movie.
 
So this isn't a 'guy' movie really, but I watched it last night so, has anyone else seen it?

Where the Buffolo Roam : Grade: D
I love Bill Murray, so I said, what the hell. He had a few funny bits (only reason it didn't get an F), but God did this movie suck. I mean I was busy doing grading stuff so I wasn't paying too much attention but still. I don't even know if it's worth a watch just to see it if you're boared on a 2 hour flight and have absolutley nothing else to do. Well, OK, maybe then.

That thing is a crap festival.
 
Conan The Barbarian : Grade: C+

Complete cheese, but not to the point where it's enjoyable, at least for me. Few good lines, few good fights scenes, few good lamentations of women :wink:, so those all helped it's score, but I just can't give it a B, I didn't enjoy it enough.

Next on my queue is The Lords of Flatbush, which none of you beeves mentioned, but I found it looking for 'classic motorcycle movies'. I figure with early Sly and the Fonz, it's gotta be watchable, right?
