Which model, exactly?

My Frankenstein USED TO BE a black LE-2, which was basically their '62RI.

It was one of their cheaper models. A "Limited Edition". Basically the same as their "The Function" models. It was from about '87, just before they stopped using the Fender-shaped headstocks. Note the two volume/tone knobs, and the lack of an output jack on the top.

Here's me in '88 with my one (I had to photoshop the end of the neck on, ha):

'95 MIK Epiphone LP DC. I ended up flipping it for a nice profit but I still miss it. Eyes closed, it felt and sounded very much like a Gibson. Pretty close to the same weight as my LP Studio too.
I also really miss my 90's Epi V and Godin Shifter bass. :( I practically gave the V away. It was long before I even knew how to change strings and it needed everything done to it to be playable.
I traded a Peavey Delta Blues 115 for the Godin and traded the Godin for a Vox AC15cc1 which is now my #1 amp! I felt I made the right call but it still hurts a little, hands down the best bass I have ever played.

Sold in moments of stupidity:
'51 Martin D-18
'57 Gibson LP, jr.
'68 Gibson SG Standard
late 50's Silvertone "Chris Isaak" (Harmony 1446)
late 70s-early 80s SD Curlee Standard bass

Stolen:
Gibson 1275 Doubleneck 6/12 (not sure of the year)
'63 Martin OOO-18
early 70s Alvarez-Yairi 5056 ("Vine Of Life" inlay, solid Braz. Rosewood B/S...rare)
'72 Telecaster
'58 P-bass
'67 Strat
Late 60's Gibson B-45 12 string
' 72 Martin D12-35

Almost all of these were bought prior the "Vintage Craze", so weren't terribly expensive at the time... :(
