I've said this before, but we insert a verse of "Don't Stop Believin'" when we do Wagon Wheel, since the chord progression is really close. We may add a bit of "No Woman No Cry", too.
hmm.....I might experiment with this. I sing "Don't Stop Believin" too.I've said this before, but we insert a verse of "Don't Stop Believin'" when we do Wagon Wheel, since the chord progression is really close. We may add a bit of "No Woman No Cry", too.
Google Nexus 7. It was something I bought on a whim when they were blowing them out at the Verizon store a few months ago for $49. We went in to replace my wifes phone and I ended up with it. Eventually I'll get an iPad but this has been cool for the time being. The only real drag has been that most cases and stands and other accessories are for iPads or other devices. What tablet do you have, Mark?
Yeah, I have one too. It's an oddly-sized tablet. None of the ilk stuff fits it.
If I were doing more "casual" gigs with other musicians it would almost be a requirement that I have a full sized iPad with a bluetooth page turner pedal. I WILL end up buying one in a few months because one of the bands I'm playing with is going to a wireless PA mixer where I'll control my own monitor mixes from the iPad.I freelance about Apple stuff, so my Nexus is my "look, I do own an Android device," but the ones I use most are my iPad 3, my iPhone, and my Mac.
My one complaint is I'd like to use a teleprompter app, but don't have a little footpedal to use with it.
As a song, Wagon Wheel is okay, but it has become an open-mic cliche. I just can't handle it anymore. That and "Orphan Girl."
Probably. We have a mini and it's cool but I think for myself for work I want a larger one. I also hear a rumor that they are possibly coming out with a larger one this fall. Haven't heard much about tha tone lately though.I think I would want the iPad Mini.... I think I could still use it for 99% of what I'd use it for.
Yeah...even a regular one would be fine. I'd need to see a bigger one. I really wanted a giant iPhone but I was looking at a students Samsung phone that was 5.5" and realized it would never go in one of my pockets.I'd be surprised if they do, actually. That rumor was based of a rumor of a prototype model. Apple is always trying out different stuff.
For me, I wouldn't want one that big. The regular iPad is good enough.
I would think the mini is would be hard to see on stage, too.
Nothing right now. I just have two songs worth of lyrics for tonight and I have them in documents in my google drive. I haven't had time to set anything up. If I needed real sheet music I'd get one of those Bluetooth page turning pedals.what are you using to turn the pages?
