oooh!

I likes them!

I was JUST playing my Ibanez not two minutes ago.
though mine's flamy, not pointy.

gimme a sec, I'll snap a couple pics here.
gonna grab a quick smoke too.
(don't smoke in here, y'see)

mine pointies...

I never heard back about the trade of my Avenge for that Peavey bass.
too bad.
though I suspect the guy felt he was getting hosed.
and he would have been.
I paid about $200 for that new, I think...

the Virgin's a workhorse.
I can beat the living shit outta that guitar, and it comes back for more.

the SG is kinda pointy, but I really put it here because it's my fave guitar.
it feels like it was made for me.

I had a bunch of pics on the computer, but it seems I deleted them...
not my guitars, mind ya.
just stuff I'd found online.

I do like the stuff these folks made for the boys from Voivod.

damn, I had a bunch of bookmarks that seem to have vanished as well...

AHA!

found 'em.

for some reason, I moved them to the folder I use to store my website stuff...

anyways:

I dig the one on the right

and these, some (if not all) have been a GPOTD, I think.
or I found them because of a GPOTD

I want this so badly, it hurts.

I'm sure this would be horrible to play, but still...it's so damn ugly, I love it.

this one was for sale in a nearby town, pretty cheap.
wish I could have grabbed it.
not all that pointy, mind ya

some days, I miss my old Ironbird too, although I think it was longer than I am tall:embarrassed:

man, I wish I had the scratch to snag that Kramer off ya.

I never got one single legit call about those bass cabs.
piss me off.

that V's pretty badass too.

My number one guitar for many years, I'll never sell this one as it has a lot of sentimental value for me. It's a Hamer USA Centaura model from the early 90's..originally had Duncan JB and Vintage staggered pickups..which I swapped out for an EMG 85/SA/SA set which sounds great. The switch is a Hamer "mid boost" that I don't really need, and I added a D-tuna to the Schaller Floyd which is absolutely rock solid.

I really need to dismantle and clean that guitar. :embarrassed:

199x Charvel 375 Deluxe. I really like this guitar. Replacement SD pickup in the bridge position. Stock Jackson Single-Coils in neck and middle. Schaller FR trem. Very stable.

Just seems to thicken up the mids..not really required with the EMG's :embarrassed:...was even less necessary with the original Duncan JB either..perhaps it was for players that played with that scooped out sound (Metallica "v" shape on the EQ) that was popular back then (still is for some genres I suppose)..and this was a quick mid boost for solo's

ah, okay.

I'm guilty of still using that scooped-out e.q. deal.
not on everything, but some stuff...
