Finished up recording Back In Black.

Yeah, i know, i just wanted to hear it, thank you.

Gypsy Road is my fave of theirs, very cool. And yes, those vocals must have been hell. I cant do that an octave lower. hahahaha

Prages, I listened to that clip last night and then didn't respond because of how much I hate your guts.

Damn you and your voice and your guitar playing to hell! And take micwalt and that wein guy with you!!!!

Where the hell is the suicide smiley?

We need to start a 'guys with limited talent' coverfest. I'm first in line...

biggrin

You could always join the regular coverfest as well - it's not a contest
Any levels of playing are always welcome, the more the merrier :)

When is the song for the 'first track' coverfest due??

I have a song I think I can play - though after listening to it again I'm not sure....

I've done the coverfest before and even entered the songwriting contest once. Everyone was pretty nice about it. I got some constructive criticizm which is fine but overall, everyone was pretty nice even when criticizing. Which is good because I really did suck.

What is funny is, when I did it, I knew it wasnt anywhere near the other guys but it seemed good coming from me anyway. If I go back and listen now, I cant even believe I had the balls to post it. It is bad.

That said, I'd do it again.

Yeah, that is really the whole point of the coverfest for me really. It's about learning - and those of us who have more experience/chops or whatever try our very best to add constructive criticism whenever we can :)
I've learned a whole lot through doing them - especially since I always pick songs I've never played before biggrin
