Gig Report: Earth Day today

I think earth day was when i started a new leaf mould pile, with the eventual intention of increasing my lawn's capacity for carbon sequestration.

I have also moved away from hippie-dippie talk of "saving the planet"--the earth is gonna be fine. Life on earth is going to be fine. Now i talk in terms of keeping the planet fit for human habitation, which is what's really at stake here.
