Individually most of these oddball Fenders seem like something someone would want. But collectively it just looks like they’re just running a computer program to generate random permutations and releasing them. Watching Fender flop around gasping for air helps me understand why Rickenbacker won’t borrow money to grow the company.

Does "classic player series" mean really expensive?

I'd be interested in hearing what sounds that third pickup brings to the fray, but I think I can live without it.

Classic Series is cheap.

Like just about ever three-pickup ever, needs to be modded to bring in the bridge pickup so you can have neck and bridge... I don't understand why this isn't done all the time.
