Dumb Fender

Does "classic player series" mean really expensive?

I'd be interested in hearing what sounds that third pickup brings to the fray, but I think I can live without it.

Like just about ever three-pickup ever, needs to be modded to bring in the bridge pickup so you can have neck and bridge... I don't understand why this isn't done all the time.

I've always rather fancied the Nashville teles -- they actually sound quite good -- but I don't get the Classic Player take. One bridge PU per guitar is enough for me, thank you!

You guys got it all wrong.
This is for the player who thrashes so hard his pickups can't take it and give up.
You see, he can give each pickup a rest after every song so they don't get so tired. Now his tele can make it through a whole show without a pickup failure.
It's genius, really. Well done, Fender. Well done. Finally a company that listens to the needs of the players.
