College football jam.....

To separate it from the NFL stuff.

How is your team doing two weeks into the season??

I think it is entirely possible Colorado will go 0 - 11 the season. They lost Saturday, at home, to a Division 1-AA team. Not only that - the team they lost to is expected to finish 9th in their conference. CU had four winnable games this year - and maybe steal one more. Well - they lost two of those already and those were the two easiest games of the season. The loss this past Saturday is already being mentioned as one of the five worst losses in team history. Granted - the team is starting a LOT of true freshmen and was basically devoid of talent when the new coaching staff took over in 2011, but still. They are flat out terrible. I cannot see them winning a single PAC12 game.

WVU trounced Marshall last week, but we didn't play this week. Trouncing Marshall doesn't really say much though.

We (Florida) look mediocre at best.

Yep. They really cant seem to create any offense. Same problem last year. The good thing is they held on to beat Texas A&M the same day the Canes lost huge. It makes it easier to beat up on my Canes friends.

I think we (Texas A&M) may be on the way to a shellacking during our inaugural SEC season. Hope I'm wrong of course.

If football games ended at the half, A&M would be top 10. Whatever they're doing in the locker room at halftime, they need to knock it off.

Penn State is 0-2

It's going to be a long 4 years but I will still root for them

Burn in Hell Sandusky.....

Yeah, I'm Penn State as well. I thought we were going to win last Saturday, but the kicking game needs work.

I was at the season opener. That was hard to watch.

I felt so bad for the kicker. The offense just dies and they should have been able to find the end zone more than they did. I'll be tailgating this Saturday so I hope they can pull off a win this week.

Yeah, I'm not blaming the kicker at all (except on the 20 yarder...). Have a good time at the tailgate. Once we hit the Big 10 schedule it's going to be brutal.

UofWashington Huskies got spanked by LSU, but had this really cool kegerator at a tailgate party!

The Big-10 looks like it's going to suck this year :(

I doubt if any team in the Big-10 this year could be competitive vs Alabama, USC, Oregon, or the like.

Christ, that was an embarrassing weekend. You saw two Heisman hopefuls (Martinez and Ball) basically get yanked off the list. Denrad Robinson got kicked off the first week.

Ohio State has played well against two bad teams, I'm not sure if Cal or the following week is a test, either. We open up Big Ten play against Michigan State, which is the only team in the B1G that looks like someone who can compete. We'll see how they do against Notre Dame.

In my opinion, there are 4 teams that are elite and the rest are wannabes: Alabama (should be playing on Sunday), LSU, USC, and Oregon.

At this point in the season....agreed.

CU gets to play Oregon and USC this year. On consecutive weeks. The losses will be epic....

I'm not much of a college football fan, but I root for the Hokies. My wife and I met while she was in school there. It looks like they are going to do well again in the ACC, but that is no shocker, the ACC isn't the best.

Now that I live in northern Florida, I will be rooting for the Gators to loose every game. The fans here are spoiled whinny bitches. Boo hoo, we haven't won the national championship in a few years, and we hate that coach who won us 2 because he didn't want to coach here anymore.
