Anyone GAS'in for something new?

I am always gassing for an Orange Thunderverb 200 and a Ceriatone Model Tee with four Orange 4x12 stacks. I might actually buy some of that if my husband goes back to working out of his office five days a week. DROOOOOO))))NNNNNEEEEEEE
 
I'm starting to run sound for a friend's band. If I keep it up, that money's going to a bass, a nylon string, a tenor guitar, or a theremin.
 
ok i lied lol.

currently looking at a small key/synth/sampler rig for our vocalist that i would eventually have one of my kids use when we form the family band.

Not to worry. It is just sitting around in a case we fashioned for it. We haven't even tried to sell it, but I figured if you wanted a theremin...
 
Used to have the Godin A6 Ultra as a permanent bit of GAS, but the price of it has doubled in the last few years and they tweaked the recipe.

My current GAS is an all solid steel-string acoustic, mostly focused on U.S.A. made, BUT less than $2K. I was focused on the Gibson J-15, but it was discontinued in 2019. So, the current dread list includes:
  • Martin DSS-17
  • Martin Special 16 from GC/MF
  • Larrivee D-03/40
  • Taylor AD-17 or 317
  • Yamaha FG5
I've also been considering an OM or 000:
  • Martin 000-16
  • Martin 000-17
  • Larrivee OM-03/40
Unfortunately there aren't any stores that have a good hunk of these guitar available for me to A/B. Further Martins are in short supply around the country, but especially the more affordable U.S. models. In addition to the pandemic related guitar sale boom no one expected, it seems Martin may have had some production issues...can't find any evidence/news to support this theory.

From an electric guitar perspective, I always want a Tele...right now the Noventa is quite appetizing.

The 40th Ani Acousticaster (with koa veneer) I had is probably one of my biggest 'post-sale' regrets. That was such a flexible and playable instrument. I would put it up against any Taylor T5.
