Anybody want a google+ invite?

So, it seems that if someone drags me into a circle, they can look at what I post whether I want them in a circle or not, no? It seems like there is no "accepting".

no, say you make a work circle and put all your colleagues in that, but on guy from work for some reason puts you in his family circle he will still only see what you post to your work circle, but you will see what he posts to his family.

it only matters what you have them in, not what they have you in.

Guys, it's too late... You all have been assimilated... Every post, every email, every PM, every everything you ever put out on the internet, secure or not, is still residing in a bunch of computers around the globe... Your genetic makeup has already been replicated... Your destiny has already been decided... They know all about you...

I had a Myspace for a while. Seemed pretty useless. Never even bothered with Facebook. Will give this a go, however.

Theres not much going on and it will be a long time before it becomes as popular as Facebook, but it is fun to try out and I think that the way they are handling your privacy is making people feel more comfortable that didn't want anything to do with Facebook.

I know several people who were constantly offended when their friends didn't respond to their "cuteface" or "wave" within seconds. That kinda soured me before I even tried it out. Just keeping up with regular email is bad enough without having to keep the insecure happy with instant responses.

That's part of why I laways liked the forum format. You can come and go as you like and nobody is really "waiting" for you or anything.

Cool... I like that you can separate folks into different groups, and now I have a MWGL Forum circle, where you all reside...

I stayed away from Facebook because its two major exports seem to be drama and assholes from high school.

and now you can put those people into your "drama" and "assholes from high school" circles and not have to interact with them. :)

And they apparently will have NO CLUE. I'm liking this.
Or wait for google, who has damn near perfected the spam filter, to create the drama filter.

Just so you know, you dudes are in my "Internet Guitar Nerds" circle.

For me, the categories might be something like this...

A. Friends that know I'm an ass.
B. Friends that don't.
C. Family that knows I'm an ass (Family I like).
D. Family that doesn't (Family I don't care for).
E. Acquaintances that know I'm an ass.
F. Acquaintances that don't...
G. MWGL Forums (you all know I'm an ass)

So does this invite come to my email then? I'm seeing nothing.
(although Brad Putt from the guitar shop in TN sent me a new email prmising to notify me when the pelham blue Dots arrive )

I think I found a bug. I updated my profile pic last night. Some of my posts from this morning and a few other things still have my old pic. Interesting.
