I'm on the waitlist for the King of Tone. No idea when it's my turn :grin:

I thought about ordering a Sun Face. Not sure why there is a million year waitlist for one pedal but the others you can get fast.

There's not a lot of parts in a Sunface? It probably realistically takes about 15 minutes for somebody like Analog Mike to build one. the KoT is a much more complicated circuit.

Ok, but I got on the list 12/7/18. He's now filling orders for people who got on it on 7/26/17. I think they built the space shuttle faster than that :grin:
 
I had a Sunface and a KoT and sold both. Kinda wish I still had the Sunface but I was ambivalent enough about the KoT that I don't miss it.

Well, my original plan was to get a full-size Dunlop Hendrix Fuzz Face but the used market has told me to get fucked. The only ones I've been able to find are double the price, from another country with ridiculous shipping, or an eBay seller that has a lot of recent complaints of not actually having the items.

I went with the Sunface at the recommendation of TPS Mick (since it's his JH-F1 that I love the sound of because of its cleanup and general tone) and went with the BC108C after asking AnalogMike.

What didn't you like about the KoT and which Sunface did you have?

The KOT just didn't do what I wanted it to do. Its a great pedal but I guess I'm not a Blues Breaker guy. I had the Red Dot NKT Sunface.
