Honestly, I've had a change of heart on that. Every single guitar where I had a choice had a maple board until I got my Squier Classic Vibe '60s and I fell in love with that neck. Interestingly, though, the only actual rosewood I have is on the cheap Explorer kit I got off eBay. Everything else is ebony (my acoustic), Pau Ferro (my Tele with WD neck), and Laurel (my CV Strat).
