$20.00 NGD

yeah sort of. it doesn't need to be as heavy as denim though

they used to sell this thin faux denim at wally world that was blac with white weaved into it to make it look shiny, i covered an amp rack in my old pickup with it... it looked pretty cool... i'll see if i can find a pic...

FACK!!! the pics must be gone... damnit...

Dude, those Johnsons are decent for a project, good score!...and, dude that inlay job is really good, I didn't know you had done that one.

thanks Matt! the inlay was done about 4 years ago. 29 pieces of inlay and about 6 months of work. i'm still not sure what i want to do with this one:facepalm:

How about tolex? Something to match an amp or just something completely different. Should be pliable enough to work with and still durable as hell.

I like this one. The original Ampeg diamond blue Tolex.

You know that wood looks pretty darn decent. For $20 it looks amazing. :thu:

i was surprised to say the least! it is a 3 piece body, so i'm not sure if a transparent finish would look good

that looks good enough for a nice finish - what are ya gonna do for pups and all?

i dont have a clue. i'm tring to get a guitar sold so i can buy some decent pups and electronics for it. but i still don't know which way to go with it.

looks like i'm gonna have to order some damn grain filler! any other way to seal wood to use a transparnt finish with?
