GPOTD 11.30.18

I have the Jerry Jones version and it's fun. As Psychotronic said above, they are a one trick pony, but they are fun. The buzz bridge can be a bit challenging to keep it set up right, there's a fine line between no buzz, deadening the string and getting it just right. It's not only a matter of height of that gizmo, but also getting its angle right.
But I have a bud that's like a 71 year old former CA surfer dude, and I can start playing a little of bit of the Doors "This Is The End" with that sitar and send him into some serious flashback mode. It's worth the price of admission just for that. LOL

I also just recently learned "Paint It Black" so I've been thinking it will be another opportunity get it out of the closet.

Another cool electric Sitar song is Cry Like a Baby-The Box Tops. In this video the Sitar look a lot like a Les Paul. lol [emoji12].
