Post your signature guitars

Jbird

Kick Henry Jackassowski
Les Pauls don't count :poke: Unless they are a 'Joe Perry', Gary Moore', 'Jimmy Page' etc etc. Les Paul. Or unless they look like Les Paul's Les Paul :embarrassed:

Go!

I have the Squire J Mascis Jazzmaster and the purple sparkle Fender J Mascis Jazzmaster

This Jem7RB is my ony signature guitar....unless we opt to count Les Pauls. It is a little corny looking, but man, it is an absolutely epic instrument. One of the best I have ever played.

My signature guitar is literally a signature guitar. Signed and numbered by Vai. #126 of 777.

Except for the pup color, that is epic hot in my book.

I got nuthin. Even if I had a signature guitar, I'd probably end up modding the shit out of the guitar and then it would just be "a baimun". :embarrassed:

The one signature guitar I've always wanted is a Rory Gallagher Strat.

The only signature model I ever wanted was the Susanna Hoffs Rickenbacker 350SH. But my chance of affording one of those evaporated long ago.

All I have is my Lafayette guitar, which the seller told me is a Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de Lafayette signature model and is worth a lot of money since they are so rare.

I have never owned a signature guitar, but there are plenty I've wanted to own a few that I'd still love to own. In the latter category, the PRS DGT is at the top. In the former category, the JEM was one. That said, I've got a PRS Custom and CE-22 Maple top, so my PRS needs are covered. I used to have an RG770 and that covered my Ibanez needs at the time. I've always wanted an Eric Clapton Strat, but my current Strat plays and sounds great (albeit modded). And I love the Morse model, but I want one with a non-locking trem (which they won't do), so it'd be easier to mod the heck out of a Tele or ASAT. That said, I don't think I'd ever build a replica or approximation of a signature guitar. Even as much as I covet the DGT, I'd likely buy a PRS 408 instead.

Anyway, nice guitars folks...and J, I get you on the Pauls. Very few people that play them now do so because of Les, more because of Page, Slash, and the like.

Yeah, the pink pickups are a little much, but they are a great sounding set of dimarzio PAF pros and a jem single coil in the middle. They sound awesome. Way less output than you might expect for a shreddy type guitar.
