Smartass

It's a diamond series, and it sounds fantastic. Unfortunately, it's also the heaviest guitar I own.

I used to own this, an Edwards Sugizo signature Eclipse. Strange little beast - LP shape, 25.5" scale, 3 active Lace Sensors, locking Floyd Rose original, 5 ways selector, and kill switch.
For those of you who don't know who Sugizo is, that's expected. I didn't know jack squat about him either. It's some dude in a Japanese band call Luna Sea, and fittingly, this was a Japan market only item. I got this in a trade for a ~$150 parts caster. These run over $1000 new :embarrassed:

Ok, that's pretty cool. And for a $150 partscaster? Damn.

I got nuthin. Even if I had a signature guitar, I'd probably end up modding the shit out of the guitar and then it would just be "a baimun". :embarrassed:

The one signature guitar I've always wanted is a Rory Gallagher Strat.

I can understand that.
I'm on the other side of the fence with this. I look at sigs as a chance to play something out of an historic moment.
I'll never be as talented as Mark Knopfler, but when I play his sig, for a little while I can daydream. The fantasy may cost a little, but in the long run, I deserve it.

Seeing as how I earn the money for my daydreams. :)

Right now, I'm waiting on the Roxy SG to hit shelves.

All Les Pauls are Les Paul's Les Paul.

May be but a Les Paul that was in Les Paul's possession would be Les Paul's Les Paul more than a Les Paul that had no direct affiliation with Les Paul; accordingly, Les Paul's Les Paul would have more value than your run of the mill Les Paul that wasn't Les Paul's Les Paul.

Probably not what you meant but I have this 70s Guild that Buddy Guy signed in 98 at a gig I did.
One of my prized possessions.

Also I have an 87 G&L ASAT. That was before Leo Fender had to stop using the Fender name.

Just had this re-fretted. Plays beautifully. Possibly my new main ax.
P.S. the middle pup was there when I bought it. Not my choice. Oh well.
