Gibson has a recent history over the past decade plus of pursuing some interesting tradedress infringement cases besides the big PRS debacle
Activision over guitar hero
Funko over those bobblehead slash dolls
Viacom over spongebob ukes

No wonder they go Bankrupt.

They're trying to make themselves "relevant" again after years (decades) of declining quality, sales, market share, brand recognition et al.
Their strategy is inconceivably counterproductive. They earned every bit of their modern bad reputation, storming out of the gates with new leadership by focusing immediately on bullying other manufacturers and acting like an 800lb gorilla is painfully stupid. Rather than taking the earned money spent by their customers to improve their product and in turn, their reputation... they're throwing that money at a gaggle of lawyers to try and stop other companies from delivering what they can't... Gibson styled guitars that don't suck, and are actually affordable.
That asshole should have made a very different angry video. He should have been angry about how the company's own poor leadership nearly ran them out of business and cemented their legacy as a failed company.

Sent from a van down by the river.

Dean seems like an odd target. It probably has enough money to defend itself in court. Going after smaller builders would have been a better idea.

Gimme the cliff notes on that 10 minute likely click bait ad revenue generator

Do you remember the big thread we had about unqualified dumbasses who won't stay in their lane pretending to be experts and running their mouths on the internet?

Bingo.
