NBA Playoffs?

A bit premature based on last night's game. He's already the Finals MVP IMO even if they lose in 4. He was simply unstoppable last night. Really they should have won that game. I think the blocking call was correct though I think the way it was reversed was not...I have no idea what JR was thinking. KD was not very good IMO. Much will have to change if GSW are going to win in 4, Cavs in 6 or 7 a definite possibility because of LeBron

I wonder if LeBron shot his wad in that game? After that sort of intensity, I would not be shocked if the Dubs won in four or five.

After the end of Game 1, I seriously wouldn’t blame LeBron if he was like “fuck this series, I’m gonna stay home and binge-watch some shitty Netflix original.”

Neither would I but he won't. He'll do his best to try and be 4-5 rather than 3-6 in the finals. And given the way he has played all playoffs I don't think he is finished yet.

Now that I actually want a specific team to win, I don't like statements like that. Not over 'til it is.

Keep diggin'!

I would not call this series over. If I remember Boston was up 2-0 and everyone called that one too :P. All GSW did was hold serve. Now if they win 1 in Cleveland it's over baring a major injury

That massive gaff in game one f'd the Cavs. LeBron scored so much, put the team on his back and then they lost it.

All the while thinking how amazing LeBron is and how far he has come since I wrote a post here years ago that was negative about him and talking about how great Steph Curry is...

I am not saying that because I was right because Steph has so many more talented players around him and all...the guys on the Cavs just aren't doing their share...but it's a bit funny that LeBron left the Cavs to make a team rather than build one at the time and for this to happen is just a little like karma in some ways.

He has had a truckload of success but that game one has to be so frustrating... and hearing about how great Curry is all of the time gotta be in his head too.

The NBA has changed. LeBron is GOAT, but now the league values thoroughbreds, not goats. He’ll be far less sought after than most think, and less successful going forward.

I’d promise a future of Celtics/ Warriors finals to rival the Celtics/ Lakers days of the 60’s, but Kyrie Irving is already squirming about committing long term to Boston, and he appears to be a head case.
