He was THE Batman for me.
Just the memory of my non English speaking Grandfather laughing his ass off watching the show was special.

There was also no better looking car than the Batmobile.
Lincoln Futura I believe.

I was sorry to hear this. I can tolerate some of the batman movies, but they all take themselves so darn seriously. I vastly prefer camp to the new style of superhero.

Just look at the who was on it.
The camp is what made the show so great.
