Every time I go to Chicago and I'm sitting in traffic, I think how lucky I am to not live there. So no, I don't want to live there either.

I have the same feelings every time I drive south of Joliet.

I subscribe to that guys channel so I've seen a bunch of places all over NYC....the typical rent doesn't really exist but it's anywhere from about 1700to over 10,000 amonth. the typical 1-3 bedroom seems to be about 2600-5600

I don't think so. Right now I'm very happy with living way out in the sticks. Maybe I should take up horse riding again, or learn how to play country music. Right now I enjoy to just sit with a cup of tea and listen to the birds though. I need it with the kind of work I do.

A third of it is the basement, but that’s where I spend most of my time. Both my kids leave for college this fall so we’ll probably sell it next summer and move to a smaller place.

Same for me, I lived in NYC in my late teens for a short time. I adapted fine, but not my preference.
