Achtung! Who else here has a watch fetish?

I used to dig Fossil watches and had a little collection of eight or so. I find them unnecessary these days as I almost always have a cell phone with me. Never liked metal bands, they always end up stripping/ripping hairs from my wrist, so mine were always leather banded. While the works of the two in the original post are groovy, I have no use for them. They're trying too hard to be cool...and it's not that they're not succeeding, but still.

any band in particular? Metallica? Megadeth? :embarrassed:

By saying that you have a watch fetish, it implies that you get your sexual jollies from watches. Whatever works for you.

The two watches in the OP are kinda cool in a futuristic punk (versus steam punk) way.
I don't like heavy watches (hence the lightweight titanium one I wear) or those giant face watches.

Oh, and Rolex makes some very pathetic time keeping pieces compared to the accuracy of other top tier watches. This is not just an opinion, sayest the Tig. :embarrassed:

I haven't worn a watch since I go my first cell phone. I don't even think I own one anymore.

I love mechanical movements.
My everyday watch is a Tissot PRS 516

I would love to get an Omega Speedmaster one day.
A watch is the only jewelry a man should wear imo .

Yeah, me neither. I used to love wearing oddball watches... Fossil, Mickey Mouse, etc., but there's no real need anymore when you're carrying a cell phone. Still took me years to break the habit of looking at my wrist, though.

I use a watch for work all the time. Nothing expensive, it's a self winding Relic.

I started gaining an interest in watches a few years ago.
I don't have too many, and none that expensive.

I am at the point where I have decided that I don't want anything with a battery in it.
I've had some that lasted for years. I've had some that lasted for months.
Either way, when they die, the watch goes in the box and gets ignored until I get around to getting the battery changed.

I have one automatic and I love it.
It's also a skeleton watch. So I can see the works through the face or even through the clear back.
