Achtung! Who else here has a watch fetish?

I use dive bezels for timing all sorts of things (except for dives...), so I rarely bother to return them to the neutral position. This was probably left over from timing my morning coffee steeping

Yes. It’s like having an highly accurate egg timer that can be easily readjusted for any time between 1 to 59 minutes.

A highly accurate egg timer that doesn’t ding or beep. That doesn’t sound very useful.

I got this one, very simple but I really like it.

Yes I'm a big watch geek. Fortunately or unfortunately... TBD
It's interesting to see whose into watches and who's not.
Our controller was in for a visit. Apparently he was eyeing my watch and I had already noticed his.
But neither of us said anything until the end of the day.
He had a Patek. I was sporting a lowly Speedmaster. But it was fun to talk to someone who enjoys watches.

I have a Garmin. It's nothing to look at, but sure is functional. If only I knew how to operate it. Its got alarms, pedometer, swim count, heart rate monitor, records, and so much more.

i picked this one up last week. love it so far. quartz movement, so not as heavy as the automatics.
(and it will do 3300 feet  )

Bought my first Timex. Also the (relatively) cheapest I’ve purchased in years.

Haven’t given it much thought as to why I like it, but there’s something about the look that grabbed me. Titanium as well. And very comfortable.

I think it’s a pretty ok buy for the price. A little louder than I’d like, and I wish that the bezel felt more solid… but hey: like I said, fair. I guess we’ll see whether it gets worn.
