Help! White Matter Lesions

Prayers and mojo for the journey ahead. I have several friends that have dealt with/are dealing with MS, both men and ladies. The resources available now are so much better than they were about 30 years ago when I first learned a friend had MS. Lean into them.

Mayo Clinic declined. Took our insurance info and then said they're full. We are trying another neurologist that gets outstanding reviews. Fingers crossed.

She starts her last round of IV steroids in an hour and we should have her home by 5pm eastern if all goes well. Finally.

So she got home yesterday afternoon. Doing well. She's trying to work and clean so it's a task to keep her chill.
Doorbell rang a minute ago. Our best friends from Chicago sent us 2 Lou Malnati's pizzas and a Manny's corned beef sandwich kit with mustard and latkes. I'll be honest, I'm crying. This makes me SO HAPPY.

Since we work in Healthcare I'm not too concerned. We will get her the treatment she needs. It's keeping her (and me) on track that is the challenge.

If you have the HC stuff covered that's an important step to both keep her healthy and not bankrupt your family. I understand that it's much more treatable than it used to be and as scary as it must be for you both, you know what you are dealing with now and the steps to take. All the best to your family.
