Help! White Matter Lesions

Mojo man. My wife and I have been through our share of medical scares and for me, not knowing is always the worst part. Let’s get it diagnosed and start treating it. I know I always feel better once I know what we’re dealing with and how to tackle it and hopefully you will to.
 
My cousin was diagnosed with MS several years ago and with treatment, didn't skip a beat after recovering from the shock of the initial diagnosis

Lumbar puncture should be happening some time today. We found out that the doctor had ordered 5 rounds of IV antibiotics and she's only done 3 so she likely won't be discharging soon. She's been there since Wednesday night. We're both just exhausted mentally and physically.

Finally got a blood draw and spinal tap was successful. Then her IV was occluded and they had to bring in a level 1 trauma phlebotomy expert who hit the IV line first try with no pain. That's saying something. She has terrible deep veins. I am an emotional roller coaster. She might actually come home tomorrow.
I may have said it already but official diagnosis, finally, is MS. Significant brain lesions and spinal lesions. Good news is it explained literally everything that has been wrong in 15 years. Bad news is we really have to watch this and do a lifestyle change. Glad to have answers. Looking forward to having her home. Now to decompress and just let the tears come for an hour or more. I need a solid release. Just let it out and vent. Gonna feel amazing.

That's it. Let it out. You can regroup later. And you will. Glad there is some news that a plan can be built from. Tomorrow or next day or whatever. Release and rest for you and your wife tonight.
