Let me think on it...I might be able to come up with a way to do a 10" radius...

...I'll hit the woodworking books this weekend...

Incorrect. Phil has various and sundry expanding gas projectile devices residing under his bed as we speak.

:embarrassed:

We just finished cleaning the fire sticks so we can go make noise tomorrow.

Here is what I'm gonna do with the neck. The walnut base that gets the truss rod and so forth topped with a thin maple board that bends over the headstock angle. Then, the rosewood board on top of that.

The last 2 guitars that I had re-fretted, I opted or the glued in frets.
The slots are cut slightly bigger and of course, frets are pressed and glued.

The fret job came out way better than any of the dozen or so others that I've had done.

About to have a 63 Guild re-fretted and love the glued in method well enough that I will have this one done the same way.

Just throwin it out there in case this might work for you...

Thus far had a 68 Gibson L5 and a 80 Ibanez GB10 done this way.
Of course both have rosewood fretboards but hey, maybe it will work on hard woods? ? ?
