before i bought the Subdecay Quasar DLX, i owned the 5 knob Quasar. it's a 6 stage phase pedal. 4 stages up front and then another two in the feedback loop. and until i got the DLX, the greatest phase pedal ever. if you're looking for a phase pedal, you CAN NOT beat this for $69.

I'd probably go for the cherry one at that price but not the black.

I wonder why they went with the black pickguard on black body with that one. A cream or white pickguard would have looked a lot better.

when Gibson did them in the 90s, they also had the black on black. my SG Special was the same way. it's just their thing.

what i'm confused about is why they changed the location of the knobs.

I have one. Great, loud, little modeling practice amp. Comes with Fuse software to extend the effects and amps it models.
I dig mine. The aux input is nice too.

I just may go look at one of the two area stores, meself, although I have absolutely NO BUSINESS buying anything.

Went to the Tukwila, WA Best Buy store. For those in the area (actionsquid...), the store actually had everything above in stock, with the exception of the two Squiers.

They had at least two each of the L6 POD HDs and the Mustang IIIs.

In addition, they have a Taylor electric that is above the counter, not yet marked at clearance, but the online price is ~ $560 with OHSC .

Also, they had two Fender AmSpecial Strats and one AmSpecial Tele for ~ $59x.xx, one AmStandard Strat for $719.00, three different Fender MIM Standard Strats for $340.00-ish. Also, a Super Champ X2 combo for $262.xx...as a matter of fact, just about all of their guitar-related and keyboard-related equipment is marked with a clearance price - this tells me Best Buy is getting ready to shut this experiment down, as I see no new stuff taking up the empty spaces.

If you are in the market for any of this stuff, and you have an appropriate BB musical instrument department nearby, it could be well worth checking out.
