So I am not an expert on the Ibanez RG series, but the RG1xxv looks like the premium model. But still the RG2xxv has a street price of $500, and has the wizard neck, so still a decent deal I think.

Heads-up to the Chicago-area peeps (or, those from outside who are adventurous and want to call ):

The Sam Ash store on South Cicero in Burbank still has (at least) 5 new Fender American Standard Strats (two 2012s, three 2011s) for $799. They also have a NOS Hwy1 Strat in 3-tone burst with maple neck for $499.

Other things they had were a Gibson Midtown in wine red for $799, Marshall Haze 40 combo for $359, Marshall Haze 15 head for $299, Marshall 1x12 Celestion cabs for $119, Marshall Class5 combo for $299...etc.
