The Washburn WI18 came last night. The UPS just delivered the PRS SE

Luckily, the wife was not home.

UPDATE: I just un-boxed the PRS SE Tremonti. It was "used" from MF. It is much lighter than I expected. No signs of use anywhere - not even pick marks. Just beautiful. I plugged it in for 5 minutes. I had heard differing opinions on the PUP's. But I am very happy with their sound. Woot Woot!!!

We just missed each other by a few years. I was there from 1976 - 1980. Then moved to Mpls. Madison is a WONDERFUL town. A mid-west Mecca. But there is crime there. When I was there I think it was related to drugs. But now - I don't know. I would have liked to stay there, but they had people with master's degrees waiting on tables for a living. No Jobs. I had some great times there. I used to go dancing at the Cardinal Bar. Back then Mayor Soglin would dance there too! I bumped into him quite often. Brushes with fame...

Yup, we missed each other by a few years. I did my first two years of college at the local 2 year UW center (Manitowoc in my case), and finished up my degree in Mad-town. I was in Madison from Sept. 1984 till Aug. 1987 (when I graduated).

Gotta hit it shortly - getting up early to run the wife to the airport and sister-in-law to workshop, then go to work :facepalm:
