If it was available here I would buy a 6 pack to try it, but I have no interest in the cans...
Why can't they ship their beer out of Canada? We have had import beers in the USA for years.
Well, they’ve figured it out. At least for the Golden Ale.

New beer day!

IMG_1245.jpeg

Tasting Notes:
Belgian golden strong ale brewed with freeze-dried honeydew melon, huell melon hops & Niagara riesling juice.

Complex & delicate with notes of apple, pear, stone fruit, honeydew, citrus, and spice (sage, cracked black pepper).

This beer finishes dry, which allows the esters and phenolic characteristics to take center stage.

Sadly, the local liquor Mega-lo mart doesn’t carry Rush beer. But I did get a nice little sake to go with my drunken noodles.

I have a question for Geddy about the temperature of the beer he drinks.

Back in his 'Working Man' days, when he was putting in those long 7.5 hour days, did he
"take himself out an ice cold beer"?
Or did he "take himself out a nice, cold beer"?

The song lyric sites are 50/50 on this.

Did he add the word 'nice' to complete the lyric?
Or did he enjoy his beer ice cold? If so, how did he already have his beer that cold the second he returned home at 5? Was he 'rolling the bones' and keeping them in the freezer? Perhaps his mom was burying a few beers in ice an hour or so before Geddy got home? I want to know.

Geddy keeps his beer in the fridge all of the time. Like all normal people.
And many Canookians have a beer fridge. Ya know, for beer. So, you can set it colder than you might a main kitchen fridge.

But specifically, the official lyric is:

I get home at five o’clock,
and I take myself out a nice, cold beer.
Always seem to be wond’rin’
why there’s nothin’ goin’ down here.

So, the lyrics on the official site are wrong…
