Did we talk about this yet?

I couldn’t find it if we did.

Anyway.. it’s a thing as of today.

You can get a case and it comes in this.

They can’t ship beer outside of Canada, but they are offering up the cans filled with water if you just want o add to your collection.
You can even order the empty box.
And they have shirts and other merch.

It’s a Golden Ale.
I wonder if it’s anything like Bolden Golson, I mean olben Olson, I mean Molson Golden.
(That is a monstrously old reference to a TV ad for Molson Golden, BTW.)

Candian Beer. So it’s as boring as the music.
I’m glad that I don’t live in Candia, then.
At least we have a ton of craft breweries here in Canada and get to try beer styles from all over the world. Beers that win awards at all of the U.S. and worldwide events.

I do hate that Molson was bought out by a U.S. conglomerate and the beer quality has changed in a noticeable way since.

Export was my fav when I was there

My Dad like Golden

And I've taken Dave Thomas's niece and nephew for ice cream so I have that going for me
I remember my dad getting beer for gatherings.

Molson Canadian.
Molson Export.
Labatt’s Blue.
Labatt’s 50.

Back then, the companies offered half-n-half cases. That’s what he’d get for small gatherings.

Why can't they ship their beer out of Canada? We have had import beers in the USA for years.

Most likely, they’re not set up as importers. I think there’s requirements with FDA and IRS to be met, as well.

They are a small craft brewery with 21 employees.

The shipping cost would likely make it prohibitive - from the purchaser’s perspective, and that would result in low sales into the market. It’s probably not worth the aggravation at this point in time.

If a courier charges $30 to ship a guitar pedal from Hamilton, ON to New York City, I can only imagine what a case of beer might cost to ship.

I have a question for Geddy about the temperature of the beer he drinks.

Back in his 'Working Man' days, when he was putting in those long 7.5 hour days, did he
"take himself out an ice cold beer"?
Or did he "take himself out a nice, cold beer"?

The song lyric sites are 50/50 on this.

Did he add the word 'nice' to complete the lyric?
Or did he enjoy his beer ice cold? If so, how did he already have his beer that cold the second he returned home at 5? Was he 'rolling the bones' and keeping them in the freezer? Perhaps his mom was burying a few beers in ice an hour or so before Geddy got home? I want to know.
