Had a nice chilled out day at my sisters. Had a couple of tins, an old fashioned and shared a bottle of wine with my dad.

The first time we hosted Christmas dinner I was 2 bottles of prosecco deep before the soup went out :embarrassed:

Back home and in the hot tub with a bottle of wine and the tunes.
 
Oh well, one Brexit and a third lockdown. Sounds like a lyric from a football crowd song. Stay safe everyone.

I slipped and fell down a flight of stairs on Sunday night when out walking the dog. Hurt like a mofo and I'm still quite stiff and sore.

Been told to work from home tomorrow. Glad I got everything in order for this eventuality before we finished for Christmas.

Speaking of Brexit. I managed to drop and lose my vape out the back over the holidays. I eventually discovered it wedged under the hot tub after a week or so. Given the amount of moisture it will have taken in, it's going in the bin. I'm trying to reorder it and the only sites that carry it are based in the Netherlands and have stopped shipping to the UK for the time being :mad:

I already have the first ear infection of the year... Hurts like mad, but I have this crap at least twice a year, so hey-ho...

They made some scans years ago. Basically, the cavities and tracts etc between your nose, mouth and ears are supposed to straighten out as you grow up. Apparently mine never did, so they're very prone to clogging up, which causes the airflow in my cavities and especially to my ears to be suboptimal to put it mildly. Which in turn cause my ears to infect behind my ear drums quite often. It's not pleasant, but the alternative involves drilling shit out behind my face, which isn't even guaranteed to solve the problem properly. So yeah, let's not :embarrassed:

Done my rota'd day in our school's hub. I'm exhausted. I may or may not be enjoying a refreshing lager beer as I type this. :embarrassed:
