Official MWGL Stoopid Dealz of the Day Thread!....

these days, i have to MAKE myself change strings, or they'd stay on there for years.
when yer not playing out anymore, you kinda just don't give a crap.

if gretsch actually used filtertrons in those electromatics, they'd be a pretty good deal.
but they are just a cheap HB. i had the "6120" version, and hated the sound and sold it after about a year.
The Blacktop Broadtrons aren't just humbuckers. They threw the name Broadtron on a bunch of different pickups that are just humbuckers (the original/BT-2S and the BT3-S) and caused confusion, but the Blacktop Broadtron and the BT-65A Broadtrons are actually Filtertrons with the coils spaced further apart.

The nice thing about the Blacktop Broadtrons, though, is that the ring is just a Filtertron ring with a slightly bigger hole for the pickup, so you can just get Filtertrons and the proper ring for those without making any extra holes.

$400 off of a left guitar is a hell of a deal. Both of the people who play lefty guitars should buy one of these.

I've probably said this before.... I'm Left Handed. When learning to play I would flip the guitar both ways but eventually settling in with "right" handed because the instruments were easier to find with the proper cutaways and controls.

Looking back... I think most people play guitar wrong.

Whatever is your most dexterous hand should play the chords... and your "dumb" hand should pick. Any other way seems silly, IMO.

The Schecter Strat I got is back up for $499…. This time in black!!!

I like Schecters except for one thing: every one I've picked up was a boat anchor.
My Schecter PT Fastback goldtop is light as a feather. (The green one with the Bigsby, however, weighs a ton.)
