Achtung! NGD. Holy sh*t, NGD.

Fwiw, as I understand it, this model is discontinued now (the sensei rt) and no more will be available in this color. I do know that the one I got was the last silver sparkle one available. I think that's pretty fucking cool. I seriously can't put this thing down.
The silver sparkle matches your eyes.

The bass contour is the most usable control I've ever had on a guitar.
Totally agree. I've had a few Revs over the years, and that's what I miss the most. Kept saying I'd replicate that with some other guitars I had, but never did.

After a solid flogging, here's my first impressions:

Frets are HUGE. Not unexpected. It's different. It'll take a little getting used to, but it'll be fine.

It's almost like the neck was made from a measurement of my hand. It's absolutely perfect.

The bass contour is the most usable control I've ever had on a guitar. A few flicks of the three knobs, this thing sounds like completely different guitars. Bass contour rolled all the way off, volume backed off a little and tone cranked, I'm a telecaster. Turn up the volume and bass contour, I'm firmly planted in LP/SG territory. I love it.

I can't stress enough how impressed I am with this guitar. It's awesome. I can't wait to get a good stage pic with it. I can't wait to crank this bitch through my Mesa at practice tomorrow.

Srsly.

Cool.
I really love the bass cut, too. Cannot understand why that isn't universal on guitars. I probably won't own another without it.

What sized frets? Medium jumbo or jumbo?
Most Reverend spec's are medium jumbo.
They are jumbo. They are very tall, let's put it that way.

They were requested by a lot of the players with signature models. So it made sense to go with them across the line. They have been standard since the original Reeves model came out.

I prefer them to the standard medium jumbos. Although I haven't been playing that long so the switch was no big deal. They allowed me to really lighten up my touch and play a little faster because I didn't have a death grip on the neck anymore.

Of the forumites who have reverends that I know,

Denverdave, Mark Wein, Tele, Prages, Jeremy, Jbird... Are all the new jumbos

Kerouac, probably Tig, myself, and I'm sure a few others have the original Fender sized frets.

@Tele911 might be able to tell us how much larger they are from a standard medium jumbo.
