National Football League 2019

That dude seems to specialize in train wrecks. Best of luck (he sez with an acid tone while hoping for the exact opposite).
If anyone can straighten him out, it's Belichick. However, this is a tall order, even for Bill. I'm sure Brady will give him a good talking to, but whether it'll have any effect is doubtful.

There's still a shot a healthy, well rested Gronk could change his mind and play. That would be deep if Gordon and AB work out.

On a side note, I like The Raiders and Steelers too. AB dicked both of them pretty bad. It's hard to root for a guy like that.

Well, we'll see what the Seahawks do today against the Bengals. My Huskies couldn't hold on, in their very late delayed game last night, as against Cal. That doesn't bode well. As the favored team, (with a ranking that will rightfully drop), they should have been able to weather the storm, so to speak. But dropped passes, etc. Failure to execute.

I have not really paid attention to the Seahawks during preseason. I wait until the season starts. though I see they beat Denver, and the Raiders, former AFC foes, so I like that. And those pesky conference foes, the Chargers, who for some reason can give them problems. Not that pre-season wins mean anything.

So, Go Seahawks!

This may sound ugly, but from a football perspective, Hernandez worked out fine. His sidelight hobby of multiple murders didn't .... really ... negatively impact the team. (Please note: there's no implicit attempt to ignore the ugliness of who he was and what he did).

Gordon contributed quite a bit last year. I'd even say he was a difference-maker in a couple of wins.

AB? LOLOLOLOL .... I am enjoying the way it gets up the ass of 31 other fanbases more than anything. And that's what having a great GM (BB"s real talent, if you ask me) can do for you: you can take a gamble on stuff like this. Irritating the shit out of your opponents is just gravy.

Anyhow, we saw how poorly it went with Corey Dillon and Randy Moss, there's no possible way this can work.

I thought Gordon was their best guy before he got suspended. They probably will make it all work. I'm sure I will be watching. I know I'll have tonight's game on.

Well, from what I read, the Pats canned him right away after he was charged. Not sure what else they were supposed to do. I don't really know anything about AB. The Seahawks have taken on their share of players with baggage or history, and some of that has worked out pretty well. Marshawn is still my favorite Seahawk. Most people say Largent. I say Marshawn.

I'm a fan of Marshawn because he rides bicycles. That makes him okay in my book. I thought him blowing the media off was funny.

Well, so far, looks like the Seahawks are not ready to execute. A lot of new faces and new players. And one very highly paid QB (who I do like). Might take a while to get things together. They may pull the game out. Maybe not.

But as much as the Pats, and some Pats fans, can be annoying (yeah, I know, a lot of Seahawks fans can be accused of being annoying as well), Belichick and his staff somehow deal with changes and new guys so danged consistently and get adjustments made, people worked into the system, etc. I have to respect it. But it can be annoying. And I am still not a Brady fan. (though I respect him and his abilities too). I do like Gronk!

49's had a hard time completing a play without a flag. Lost 3 TD's to stupidity, and gave up one due to same. Still stuck it to the Bucks pretty good in the end. Once they knock that shit off, they should be fine.

Well, they pulled out an ugly win. Better that than an ugly loss.
