Update -- it's apparently adenocarcinoma (not small cell). Apparently the docs are gonna do two-three rounds of chemo and his reaction to that will allow them to give him a guess as to how long he has left. Did I say that cancers sucks?

yea...it sucks. i lost my best friend (since we were 5) last november to liver cancer. they took 30% of the liver and then he was on all kinds of regimens, but it kept him alive for a little over 3 years, with a pretty good quality of life.
yea....it sucks.
