I always that that Perry was the happy lovey dovey type of alt-rocker. He needs to leave this shit to the Ghallagher brothers.
 
I’m fortunate that I got to see them play live at Lolapalooza. They were great that night. It’s not looking like I’ll get a chance to catch them live again.
 
The concert I saw in '91 was explosive and it's still one of the most memorable shows I've been to. Too bad it's come to this (again).

A lot of the album artwork, song titles, song ideas, etc were collaborative efforts with his girlfriend at the time, who he has conveniently erased from his recollections of the time and given zero credit to her.

I sat behind him on a plane once (would have been early 2000s, so post them being big), and he gave off serious "trying too hard to be a deep and inscrutable artiste" vibes.

It's a bummer he seems to be a real dick, because they were awesome back in the day

I never dug too deep, but I always thought he was a good dude. Not so much the other night. Here are some of his interests.

Dave used to always play shirtless and show off a pretty good physique. He looks a bit frail in that clip. Is he OK? Maybe just the aging process. Getting old sucks, but it beats the alternative.
