Nope, that's the factory paint job. It's a cheap made in Indonesia strat copy. Crescent. Got it off ebay for $45 + shipping. Laminate body, swimming pool route, had some pretty nasty fret wires hanging off the edge. I replaced the bridge, pups, switch, pots, jack,... In the picture it has a GFS Lil Killer ( copy of a SD Hot Rails) but the pups have all been replaced for a set of Rose MAriposa's. It has more time and money invested in it than it probably should. I could have gotten a used MIM Strat for all that I've spent on this. But I got to be the mad scientist ripping the guts out and replacing them with other guts. So I had fun, and I've learned a lot doing this. ( It was my first parts-caster build.)

Can we make a "Great Deals Thread" sticky? That was the only reason I stuck around HC as long as I did while the site was crashing 23 hours a day.

And profanity doesn't get replaced by that childish "beep" over here either? It's a little thing, I know, but it was SO fucking annoying.

There is a Great Deals thread from the last HC meltdown. To cut down on clutter, Mark put all of these in a single stickied thread as hot links. I pasted the thread below. I'm not sure how active that deals thread has been in recent months, but if you guys want any changes just pm a mod and we can alter as needed.

It should be easy to spot as it is the thread on the guitars board with the giant Hendrix head. lol.
