I know you hate it but THIS IS THE WEIN NFL THREAD...'25-'26

The field goal blocks this weekend were delicious, regardless of team or outcome.

Some great games. Unfortunately, my Broncos lost to the Chargers. The Broncos had 9 penalties that were accepted for 90 yards. Also, Bo Nix over threw open receivers multiple times. You cannot give up that many yards to penalties, miss great opportunities multiple times, and expect to win against a team like the Chargers. Justin Herbert is an amazing QB, able to make accurate throws on the run when under pressure from the defense.

How ‘bout your Browns, @bsman?!?
Rather take a loss in the early part of the season before a bye week than in the playoffs. Looking forward to next week when Parsons returns to Dallas. Anyway - even after that we're still first in the NFL North and the Bears are still last, so

Ties are stupid. They oughta let the two teams keep trading possessions until one of them wins or a player suffers a traumatic brain injury that will cause him to take his own life ten years from now.

Philadelphia is the only city, where you can experience the thrill of victory and the agony of reading about it the next day.

Great week.

Xavier Worthy is back, so the offense is (almost) back kind of. Rashee Rice will return finally for week 7 against the Raiders. He'll have been gone for over a year. Feels like a decade with that that whole past season, the super bowl, and these first few games.
Butker is closer to getting fired (now sucking on the field not just off)
Defense is playing crazy
Raiders and Chargers both lost
No Jawaan Taylor false starts

I think Nohl Williams (CB) is going to make all-pro this year as a rookie. He gets insane 90+ PFF scores every week and basically erases every team's big receiver. He currently leads all corners and defensive rookies by a long shot. Most do not know his name because he was a third round pick and people are just getting around to recognizing Trent McDuffie.

Typical Bears. They suck less so, you will miss them more. Next week is their bi week. They don't play the Sunday after that either.

MNF my Broncos won agains the Bengals 28-3. Cincinnati had 10 penalties in the first half alone.

Next week, the Broncos will travel to Philadelphia to play the Eagles. The Broncos will have to tighten up a lot to properly challenge the Eagles. The betting lines have the Eagles favored by 4.5 points.

My buddy is pissed off about your Broncos. In our FF league the kneel down that Nix did at the end of the game cost him -0.1 points, he lost by 0.02 :cop:
