I do too, but I realized that having it on there makes it a little more consistent with my Strat in terms of pick hand feel. I don't really anchor on the front of the guitar but I do like to feel where the guitar is and having the pickguard on actually makes it easier for me to switch between the guitars, Lame, but it's working for me.I almost always prefer without pickguard. But, it got me thinking, did Gibson ever consider a headstockguard?
