I watched Vipers Striking last night and thought it was genuinely terrible. I haven't been disappointed with a Black Mirror episode until now but that was excruciating.

I'll leave it up to others to form their own opinions, but I found it cringeworthy as well. Dude reminding me of R Kelly didn't help.
 
I totally agree about Striking Vipers (Vipers Striking?). I barely made it through it. I only hung on hoping it would have a great twist. It didn't. I'll watch the rest tonight. Hopes aren't as high as they were when I saw the season was available.
 
I thought Striking Vipers was ok but the sci-fi metaphor for of gay black men having to keep it on the down low was a little painfully obvious and made it feel like it was written by a pretentious high-schooler. Tonight I watched the Miley episode. She was good but the episode was ten minutes too long for me. I had to pause it and take a break to stay interested.

Yes, we also enjoyed I am Mother and the Miley episode of Black Mirror. Haven't watched the other two episodes yet....

Loved it. The first season of JJ is my favorite of all of the Netflix/Marvel heroes... but the second was a little bit of a let down (still better than both seasons of Iron Fist though). This third season is a return to form and the villain is spectacularly creepy and fucked up. Forewarning.... If you find Trish Walker annoying (as my wife does) you may take issue with several Trish-centric episodes, but the way things tie together are pretty cool.

It's a shame that a) none of the show runners knew the cancellation were coming to join forces for one last movie or abbreviated final lap and b) that they had to be cancelled at all. From what I understand it would be extremely difficult to bring the shows back as they are on the Disney Streaming service. I'm hoping that they can come up with something like "Heroes For Hire" and bring back Jessica, Luke, Iron Fist, Daredevil, and the side characters into one comprehensive Hell's Kitchen world.
 
Watched the Aniston & Sandler thing that's just dropped last night as I couldn't be bothered using IQ points.

It was very Meh. Quite a good premise but way too zany for my liking.

I'm in the middle of that. So far it's been worth it for "Soviet Chewbacca" alone.
 
Murder Mystery was fucking shite. Boring, unfunny and stupid. Why the fuck did I fall into the trap of watching an Adam fucking Sandler movie? :facepalm:

That’s a good question. If you’re on this forum you’re old enough to know better. I’ve never even tried watching an Adam Sandler movie when I was high.
 
Do not watch The Lobster.

Locke was pretty good. Probably not for everyone, but I liked it. The entire movie is one guy driving in his car and talking to various people on the phone while his entire life is falling apart.

 
For those who hated season 2, there is much redemption in season 3...
