Give me something to watch on Netflix

Treasures From the Wreck of the Unbelievable was really well done version of what it is. What it is pissed me off for a bit.

We watched The Lobster the other night, using our shiny new Netflix subscription. It is pretty weird - the premise is completely absurd (intentionally). But it is a different way of looking at the usual relationship stuff, made me think.

Oh and it has the steamin hot chick from The Mummy in it. :embarrassed:

The Lobster was a great flick. Loved it.
I started The Dirt aka soft core porn with a band bio in it. I am waiting until my kids go to bed before me to finish it.

The OA Part 2 is out. Haven't had time to start it but it is definitely on my hit list.

I don't know with the OA. I liked the show quite a bit before the ending. Flash Mob semi-justice FTL.

The "movements" were always a super weird part of that show for me but overall I really enjoyed it. I'm at least interested to see if they can make something of part 2. Hope's aren't high.

Enjoyed The Dirt.

Acting was a little wonky at times, but overall well done and well told.

I read the book and I am about halfway through the movie. The movie is like a really high & drunk, annoying 17 year old is giving you a synopsis of the book in 1989.

We watched The Dirt last night. You definitely don't want the kids around when you watch it. I'm rather surprised that it isn't getting more discussion around here.

Just watched it today, way to just gloss over some major flaws like, "oh well, I fucked up back then guys...".

Nate Bargatze : The Tennessee Kid

This is brilliant stand up. If you don't laugh a lot, you probably have no concept of joy in your life any longer.

Watched The Highwaymen the other day, w/ Costner and and Harrelson. It's yet another story about Bonnie and Clyde, but this one tells the story of the two Texas Rangers that hunted them down. Not bad.

We just saw that one too, decent movie. I enjoyed the period cars and stuff, and Harrelson and Costner were pretty good.

The Highwaymen was a good flick. When Harrelson is shooting at the sign and misses repeatedly and then says, "Look at that! All through the same hole!" I about died laughing.

Haven't watched it yet but The Highwayman is on my list. What is with the stupid tagline from Netflix though? "They're back on the job and still not playing by the rules". Fucks sake, sounds like a shitty Lethal Weapon reboot. Netflix are getting as bad as the worst of Hollywood. Must have hired some morons

Their movie descriptions have been getting progressively more insipid for the past couple of years. Every time I read one I feel like my intelligence is being insulted.
