Essential 'Guy' Movies..

That movie is essential watching for this scene alone:

John Matrix: [holds Sully upside-down over a cliff by his leg] Listen, loyalty is very touching. But it is not the most important thing in your life right now! But what IS important is gravity! I have to remind you Sully, this is my weak arm!

Sully: You can't kill me Matrix! You need me to find your daughter!

John Matrix: Where is she?

Sully: I don't know. But Cooke knows, I'll take you to where I'm supposed to meet him!

John Matrix: But you won't.

Sully: Why not?

John Matrix: [holds the hotel key he stole from Sully that Cooke is staying at] Because I already know. Remember, Sully, when I promised to kill you last?

Sully: That's right, Matrix! You did!

John Matrix: I lied.

This is then followed by:

Rae Dawn Chong: Where's Sully?

Matrix: I had to let him go.

Some interesting Arnold trivia.

1. the fictional island of Val Verde that Matrix is supposed to overthrow in Commando is also the name of the country his team is deployed to in Predator.

2. David Patrick Henry who played Sully also played this guy in The Warriors.

The line "Warriors come out and play!" was his.

3. Die Hard started out life as Commando 2

SKIP COMMANDO??!?!?!?

The best one liners in any Arnold movie.

You're dead to me.

Remember Sully when I promised to kill you last?

I lied.

Here's a quote from an as yet unmentioned essential guy movie:

"They took my thumbs Charlie! They took my thuuuuuumbs!"

Edit: Damn! My Arnold Comnando qoute was already posted. Well played.

What happened to Sully?

I let him go.

I can't be arsed to go through this whole thread, but if no one has yet mentioned "The Great Escape" and "Kelly's Heroes," you should all be ashamed of yourselves.

This. I've always thought there should have been a string of sequels like Debbie Does Detroit, Debbie Does Delaware, Debbie Does Denmark etc.:thu:
The sequel was called Debbie Buys Herpes Medication.

And ripping the car seat out!? The epitome of cheese.

Ohh, that made me remember a couple more.

Police Academy 1-3 (In the first one, Hightower (played by Bubba Smith) doesn't know how to drive, so Steve Gutenberg steals a car (I'm thinking an early 70s Corolla or something) and Hightower can fit in it, so he rips the driver's seat out and drives from the rear seat.

Also, Revenge of the Nerds is a great one.

I'll throw in the recent "Chef". I quite liked it, but my wife and daughters didn't, so I guess that makes it a guy movie.

i just watched Gladiator for the 20th time. so awesome.
river phoenix is as good as crowe in that.
"that vexes me. Im terribly vexed" lol
